My husband wanted a better pot holder that he feels has more stability. I found this. Like the nice lining and the functionality of the product. It does the job. It comes with a hanger but I alreafy had one in my pantry closet near the stove. Thickness is very good and lifted a heavy roasted chicken from the oven with stability and comfort. No burning. The only con is that if you have a bery large hsnd with thick fingers it could be tight. I fid opt for the larger size. Still my husband could get them on with little room to spare. Fits my hand perfectly.
They even have little hearts on them! My husband pointer it out to me after I gave them to him, and I said "That's because I love you so much!" But yes, they work great. He was able to take a chicken out of the rotisserie using only those gloves. He held the chicken and everything, and it was fine. They haven't burned and they were used for Thanksgiving too. They are quite durable, and so far they are not too stiff. He is able to grip handles with them too. Nice find!
We have an air-fryer multipurpose oven. The standard oven mitts we had were too bulky to easily remove the frying basket and drip tray at the same time. And they always got grimy. These gloves are flat so they grip the basket and tray easily. It's a snap to wash and rinse them off. Great product!
These gloves are amazing. I cook mainly with cast iron and I always use to burn myself a lot. Not anymore! I like that they conveniently hang for me and I don't have to fumble to get the correct glove because both fits on either hand. Highly recommend.
I needed ideas for some smaller Christmas gifts for my husband, and came across these.Purchased these because:- He grills a lot.- His favorite color is orange.What did he think?- They were a hit! He even brings them inside if he is using the oven.Other positives:They are light weight.They are not bulky like other glove/mitten styles.They work - he has comfortably carried many hot, cast iron skillets full of food from our grill to the kitchen, which is about 60'.I decided to try them and even though they were a little big, they worked well for me too. You can see in the first picture how well I'm able to hold onto a cast iron handle. These gloves are very flexible and work incredibly well.
I have 2 sets of these gloves and they are PERFECT to have in both indoor and outdoor kitchens. They are super easy to clean when soiled. They are great for shredding meats (we do lots of barbecuing- #Texas) and they work great as hot pads for pots/pans/countertops. 10/10 recommend this product!
I always wanted a better way to take heavy, hot items from the oven. With mitts I felt I was going to burn myself. And with pads I worried I would drop the item. When the "ove gloves" came out, I really doubted they worked. These silicone gloves popped up, so I decided to try them. YAY! They work really well. No burns and no slips out of my hands. Super easy to clean. Go for it. They come with hooks, too.
These work great. I hang them from a small hook on the cabinet so they're handy. No need for any other hot pads.(I ordered a second pair as a gift, though, and did not receive. Have submitted request to the company.)
Pleasantly surprised with these gloves! I was able to remove my HOT (400 - 450 degree) cast iron pan safely off of the grill. Just what I needed instead of using "doubled-over" pot holders!
Internal matherial is fluffy and can be easily get dirty without cleaning possibility. No any additional internal lining and you cant wash the gloves. Other this - the gloves are very well.
Heat resistant mitts can get pretty pricey. At $30 these feel like a good purchase. I wear a 7.5 glove, and these fit me as expected for a universally sized mitt. A little roomy without loss of dexterity. Heat resistance is impressive. I've held objects which were almost certainly near 450-500F for several seconds without feeling any warmth bleeding through.Washing my hands with dish detergent while wearing the mitts was insufficient to thoroughly clean. Required some scrubbing with a brush. Having said so, I have no need to keep these spotless. Extra small or large paws may struggle with sizing, as I'm sure such people do anytime they're purchasing handwear. Something sized more specifically to your hand will always allow greater dexterity, but aside from that, I fully recommend these mitts.
Absolutely love them. Easy to clean, work great to protect your hands and comes in several colors. Got the pink for my daughter's kitchen. Like you can easily rinse the outside in the sink or throw them in the washer. The inside with cotton is soft, easy to slip your hands in and feels good to the touch. Would love to see more colors come out that are more earthly. Price is great and the colors are fun. They even send you adhesive hooks to hang them up. Happy with this purchase.
I haven't had a chance to use it. Just picked it up and it fell apart.Update: I contacted the seller and they were very good at correcting the issue. Very good customer service. I use these gloves to flip my ribs in the smoker. I'm very pleased with the ease of use and stability and grip. Much better than using tongs and rubber gloves.
They seem like nice gloves, but just a warning, they are for very small hands. I typically wear size large or x-large gloves and you can see how small they are in the pics.
These are great!! They really keep heat away and for an extended time. I got some garlic and oil on them and just washed the outside and hung them to dry. Cleaned easily! My husband loves them too!
I own 2 other “heat resistant silicone gloves. I bought these because the other just didn't work and we're not flexible enough to really be able to pick up food off the grill. These gloves work great! Your hands stay cool, extremely flexible (you can actually turn a chicken wing on the grill). I am happy with my purchase and would recommend them to a friend.
I looked at several gloves and read several reviews. I landed on one where a lady compared several brands while serving hot meals on a food line and she said this one brand was the brand so I quickly placed my order.My use case was different I needed something to pull meats off my Traeger. Tongs don't work as the meats are falling apart when they come off. And I had tried other gloves that were impossible to clean.So these showed up and I have since used them for just about everything. I pull meats off the Traeger. I make baked beans and have a glass lid I must lift off. For the first time since I started making these beans 15 years ago I didn't feel the heat of that glass lid. I bought these gloves for my wife as a small gift because it was look pretty cool but i wasn't expecting for that!this gloves are absoulutly amazing!we use it all the time for everything! the size is perfect for both of us and we cant feel a thing no matter how hot it is, I really liked that that you could wash them so i can touch hot food directly and after it i just wash them and hang on the small hooks that comes with it - which is also pretty cool, so its 5 STARS for me and i would give ten if it was an option:)listen to me buy a pair you won't regret it
I have a smaller. hand and I was concerned that these would be to clumsy for me but as shown in picture I can close my hand to grip a cookie sheet or anyting else I need on the grill or stove. this silicone stuff is great to disperse heat and the cotton lining is an added bonus not only for comfort but also if your hand is a little wet whem you put the glove on you don't slip on the silicone.
